[Just to Remember [ver.2]]

nearly perfect.

Nice little tune.. i can see this fit perfectly as the background music to some game. Its got everything you need in a song its just missing the final touch. Mastering. i know its something that should never be ignored post production Mastering can be quite difficult however. I'm no expert but there no better way to learn than to force yourself to "master" mastering ;). Silverstich below said something about the banjo being a bit dry. I agree to an extent. you don't wanna over do it with effects because then it will lose its simplicity (which is the tone you are going for I assume).

Anyways nice song I enjoyed every minute of it honestly :)

Pretty cool

i liked the intro and the melody.. but work on it some more add new stuff more effects.. better EQing and mastering.. and some reverb or something to the instruments to make it sound more complete.. even a ahrmony lead that follows ur main melody and it will be pretty cool.. another thing is the intro is rly cool with the effect.. but then it just disapears and sounds empty.. you probably know what I'm taklin abuot.. u gotta fill up the song with something so the listener feels that the song actually builds into something rather then the super intense intro u have that leads to "nothing". anyways rly good song one of ur better works. and has potential to be great.

Pros- Original, nice sound, effort, decent melody

Cons- Mastering (clipping), Structure, Samples

Ur gettin better. This sounds a lot better than all ur other stuff... I think you should listen to some professional trance. when i say listen i mean study it. concentrate and listen to how they are made. sometimes try to remake a trance song and get it to sound as similar as possible even if you aren't going to upload it at least you will get the practice.

yo its me again

this is really nice the bass is cool but the song itself is a bit empty.. just bass and percussion and the occasional other instrument. if you listen to some professional music of this same style you'll notice a lot of ambient effects and random sounds in the background. its hard to do but it makes a nice difference. I can see this being a nice song after its been reworked a tad and mastered. really good work anyhow :)

I got ur messege so i decided to check out ur stuff. This is a good song. I read some other guys comment and he mentioned the kick overpowering and same with the percussion at 1:58. well i wouldnt consider it overpowering.... not volume wise at least. the kick is just a bit plain. If you gonna have the compression effect with the music when the kick comes in the kick has to be a very hard kick. when you play the snare over the kick the compression sounds natural but without the snare its a bit out of place... and for the percussion at 1:58. I think its a nice touch, just find a better way to work it into the song.. apart from that everything is good :). keep up the good work!

the intro should have ended after 4 bars and then go into something else.. i really like the sound.. its just the bridge so its rly good... maybe take the bass repeating note and halfway through the measure drop the note to the lower harmony. fiddle around with it its really nice.. props! :)
